Introduction

The following rules and regulations are established to ensure the orderly and efficient operation of Agra Club Limited (“the Club”) and to promote the safety and enjoyment of all members and guests. By joining the Club, all members agree to abide by these rules and regulations.

Membership

  1. Eligibility:
    • Membership is open to individuals as defined by the Club’s membership criteria.
    • Membership categories include Army & Airforce officers (serving & retired), civil administration, and civilian members.
  2. Application:
    • Prospective members must complete the membership application form and submit it along with the required fees.
    • All applications are subject to approval by the Club’s management committee.
  3. Dues and Fees:
    • Membership dues and other fees must be paid as per the schedule established by the Club.
    • Failure to pay dues may result in suspension or termination of membership.

General Conduct

  1. Respectful Behavior:
    • Members and guests are expected to conduct themselves in a respectful and courteous manner at all times.
    • Abusive, offensive, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  2. Compliance:
    • All members must comply with the Club’s rules, regulations, and policies, as well as any instructions from Club staff or management.
  3. Use of Facilities:
    • Club facilities are for the use of members and their guests only.
    • Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.

Sports and Activities

  1. Booking and Usage:
    • Sports facilities must be booked in advance, and usage must adhere to the scheduled times.
    • Proper attire and equipment must be used when participating in sports activities.
  2. Coaching and Training:
    • Coaching and training sessions must be conducted by Club-approved instructors.
    • Members must follow the instructions and safety guidelines provided by the coaches.
  3. Safety:
    • Members must ensure their own safety and the safety of others while using the sports facilities.
    • Any injuries or accidents must be reported to the Club staff immediately.

Events and Functions

  1. Reservations:
    • Club facilities for events must be reserved in advance.
    • All events must be approved by the Club’s management.
  2. Conduct:
    • Event organizers are responsible for ensuring that their guests adhere to Club rules and regulations.
    • Any damages caused during an event will be the responsibility of the member who made the reservation.

Alcohol and Smoking

  1. Alcohol Consumption:
    • Alcoholic beverages may only be consumed in designated areas.
    • Responsible drinking is expected, and excessive consumption leading to disruptive behavior will not be tolerated.
  2. Smoking:
    • Smoking is only permitted in designated smoking areas.
    • Members and guests must dispose of cigarette butts and other smoking materials properly.

Disciplinary Actions

  1. Violations:
    • Violations of the Club’s rules and regulations may result in disciplinary action, including warnings, suspension, or termination of membership.
  2. Appeals:
    • Members have the right to appeal disciplinary actions to the Club’s management committee.

Amendments

  1. Changes to Rules:
    • The Club reserves the right to amend these rules and regulations at any time.
    • Members will be notified of any changes in writing.
